Description
Thenebulous wrasse(Halichoeres nebulosus) is aspeciesofwrassenative to theIndian Oceanand the westernPacific Ocean. It can be found in groups at depths from 1 to 40m (3.3 to 131.2ft) onreef flats. This species feeds onfish eggsand benthicinvertebrates, includingcrabs,sea urchins,ophiuroids,polychaetes,spongesandmollusks.Its coloration varies, ranging from brown to dark green. This species can reach 12cm (4.7in)in total length.
