Tretocephalus Cichlid

Description

Commonly confused as a young Frontosa upon first glance, this is a Tretocephalus! These Lake Tanganyika cichlids grow to be about 6 inches long. They do best in aquariums that have multiple caves and hides. We recommend keeping them with other Lake Tanganyika cichlids or armored catfish that stay about their size. Feed them a cichlid pellet as a staple diet and then give them frozen or live meaty foods on the side.
