Spotted Florida Gar Small

Description

The Florida Spotted Gar is a freshwater fish that reaches 4ft in length. Due to their very large size, you will need to house them in an aquarium of around 500 gallons. When your gar is younger, you can keep them in a smaller aquarium, but you must make sure your gar has room to grow and that you upgrade your tank to the proper size when needed. The gar is a predatory fish that can be housed with tank mates as long as they are similar in size to your gar, so they can not be viewed as food.All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only.
