Pink Cuckoo Catfish also known as Synodontis Petricola or Pygmy Synodontis, is a fascinating freshwater catfish species native to the Congo basin in Africa.

1. Appearance:

   • Synodontis catfish have a shark-like silhouette with flat bellies, making them excellent bottom-dwellers.
   • Their bodies are primarily gray or brown, adorned with large dark spots that provide effective camouflage against murky lake and river bottoms.
   • Some individuals may have bright white accents around their fins.
   • Notably, they lack traditional scales but possess spiny pectoral fins and a sharp dorsal fin for protection.
   • Their most distinguished feature is their whiskers, three pairs of fleshy barbs that assists them in their hunt for food.
