Lenticulata Pike Cichlid

Description

his beautiful fish is called a Lenticulata Pike Cichlid. They do grow to around 15 inches so a 90 gallon aquarium minimum is required. Although the bigger the better because these fish love to swim fast and enjoy having space to explore. Some great tank mates for this fish are large Geophagus species, large Oscars, similar sized Peacock Bass, large Plecos, or Lima Shovelnose Catfish. These fish mainly eat other fish in their natural habitat but when kept in an aquarium they can be trained to eat other live food such as ghost shrimp or earth worms.All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only.
