Tri Beacon Cactus Pleco

South American exporters love this pleco and export quite a few to Europe and Asia. The pleco is expensive however and not as popular in America. Perhaps the bright fringe colors on the dorsal fin are just too small for American tastes, but the fish truly has subtle beauty.

These catfish grow large, but do not outgrow a medium size aquarium and fit right in a large tank. These plecos are hardy scavengers that like to hang on driftwood.
