Firemouth Cichlids are really beautiful semi-aggressive fish from Central America! These fish grow quickly, reaching 5-6 inches as full grown adults and needing at least 30-40 gallon tanks to live in. Tank mates include plecos and other catfish, Rainbows, Loaches, and other cichlids with similar temperaments like Acaras or Angelfish. These fish are also well known for breeding in captivity for those looking to try their hand at breeding cichlids!
