Dalmatian puffer

Description

Black Dogface Puffer is a very unique and rare puffer. Black Dogface Puffers have a mostly all black body with white fins and a white tail. Black Dogface Puffers also have a white mouth and various white patches on their black bodies.

Black Dogface Puffers reach a maximum adult size of around 13 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 90 gallons in size. Black Dogface Puffers are semi-aggressive fish, but shouldn’t bother too many other fish in your tank. Black Dogface Pufferfish can bother some smaller fish and eat most inverts. Black Dogface Puffers have also been known to nip at some corals. For these reasons, it is a bad idea to add a Black Dogface Puffer to your reef tank.
