Boeseman’s Rainbow ‘Aves Creek’

Description

Melanotaenia boesemani is one of, if not the single most popular rainbowfish in the pet trade.With their metallic-turqoise front halves and bright yellow to orange tails, it’s not hard to see why! Females are a uniform metallic green colour but are still beautiful in their own right. Having females around also encourages interesting sparring and display behaviour out of your males.

These are juveniles around 1.5-2″ long of the ‘Aves Creek’ locality, known for developing deep ruddy-orange where regular Boesemani develop yellow.
