Description

The captivating Black Leopard Wrasse, also known as Leopard Wrasse or Yellowspotted Wrasse, boasts a striking dark body covered with light blue to yellowish spots. An impressive combination of black and white diagonal stripes adorn the dorsal fin, and these fish may even possess red highlights on the tail and head. To ensure these majestic creatures thrive, a tank of 90 gallons or larger should be adequately equipped with live rock and live sand. To create a healthy dynamic, it’s recommended to purchase a group of three or more. Marvelously, they accept a diet of small invertebrates (foraminiferans and amphiopods) that live on live rock. In addition, it’s important to provide a selection of vitamin enriched frozen mysis shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, and other meaty foods with a high quality marine flake and pellet food.
