Description
The Senegal, or Common Bichir (also known as Dinosaur Eel) is the most widespread species ofPolypterusin Africa, inhabiting shallow waters across a huge geographic area. This species is also the most common in the aquarium hobby and has been commercially bred in Asia for years. The albino variant is typically solid white white or gold with pink eyes and is a prized showpiece specimen in the aquarium.
