The female guppy genes are the most dominant when looking for inherited traits in offspring. Since the males are constantly trying to mate with the females it is always a good idea to have more females than males in the fish tank. We offer a grab bag selection of female guppies for a low price to keep the balance in this battle of the sexes. Do not be surprised to receive pregnant guppies, see the BLOG. Males and females are sorted by type and separated by the breeders and we keep them separated at the warehouse. However, many females are pregnant prior to separating, and females can have several broods before the “occurrence” runs its course.
