L-007 Galaxy Vampire Pleco
The Vampire family of plecos receive their name due to a sharp tooth on the sucker mouth. The L007 vampire pleco is also called the tooth-nose pleco and the galaxy pleco. The bite causes little more than surprise, but they do bite. Vampire plecos are scavengers and meat eaters. The L007 galaxy vampire pleco has larger dots than the L29 and L240 vampire plecos. These exotic aquarium fish are caught near the Brazil border in Colombia and love to hang on driftwood like bats in a cave.
