Macrostoma Betta (Breeding Pair)
The glorious betta macrostoma, also called the Tail Spot Betta, is the largest betta available to the trade. These rare fish are wild caught in Borneo and grow to four inches. Wild macrostoma bettas can be placed together with other macrostomas and other fish of similar size. These expensive species are jumpers, so please keep the tank covered or you will lose them. The male is pictured below, female is similar size and appearance but without the tailspot.
