Siberian Sturgeon
The coldwater Sturgeon is a great addition to a large pond. Beware of the size they grow, you will need a pond of 10,000 litres at least. They are always active so great to watch in a freshwater pond.

Ease of care
Moderate. They need a large pond with a good filter and pump system. An air pump will also be needed.
Diet
Sinking Sturgeon pellets. They will need feeding all year round.
Compatibility
They are a peaceful fish so can be placed with other Sturgeon, Koi or Goldfish. Nothing small enough to get into there mouth.
Breeding/ Sex
Intermediate. They spawn between may and June when at least 18 years old.
Life Span
They can live to anything from 18-22 years in perfect conditions.
