Papa Plecostomus L090

Description

The L-090 Papa Pleco belongs to the Panaque genus which are well known for being wood-eating Plecos! The same is true for this Pleco, who also goes by the names Papa Lyretail, Papa Panaque or Ojo Chico Pleco. This fish grows 12-14 inches long or more and can have a tail that trails another 12 inches behind it! This catfish will need plenty of driftwood and a tank larger than 150 gallons at full size, so doing some homework on this fish is recommended before committing to buying one. Despite their adult size, this Pleco is otherwise a beautiful addition to a community tank as they are peaceful with almost all fish except for other Plecos.
