Description

The Electric Blue Leg Hermit Crab is a rare find, coming only from the Marshall Islands. It’s amazing electric blue legs with black banding and its brightly colored orange antennae draw the eye. Its claws are almost equal size and a brownish green hue. This tiny crab lives in empty snail and triton shells or, in a pinch, can attack and eat a snail for its home. Valuable to any aquarium, it eats algae like green hair and cyanobacteria, and aerates the sand by sifting through it. Reef-safe and easy to feed with dried seaweed if necessary, the Electric Blue Leg Hermit Crab is a great addition!
