Description

Longnose Hawkfish are distinct with a white body and red stripes going horizontally and vertically. They have fascinating personalities and are the only Hawkfish to successfully reproduce in captivity.In a minimum of 30 gallons of water with a secure lid, these hardy and semi-aggressive creatures thrive. They are known to eat small fish and shrimp, but can coexist with reef inhabitants in the right conditions. These fish enjoy hiding among Red Gorgonian Sea Fans and other decor for camouflage. A balanced diet of marine proteins, frozen food, and live feeder shrimp should be provided.
