Description

The Six Line Wrasse is a beautiful and lively addition to any marine reef aquarium. Its orange body features six distinct blue horizontal lines, making it a dazzling sight. When the male is courting, these lines become even more intense. They are also highly active, darting around the rocks and corals. Native to the Indo-Pacific and Fiji, the Six Line Wrasse is great at foraging amongst corals. It feeds on pyramidellid snails, urchins, flatworms and other pests. In the home aquarium, they need a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of hiding spots and live rock. Give them vitamin-enriched frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp and other meaty foods. They also love high quality flake and pellet food.
