Description

The Salmon Red Rainbowfish is commonly known as the Red Rainbowfish, Red Irian Rainbowfish and the New Guinea Red Rainbowfish. The Salmon Red Rainbowfish is one of the larger species of the rainbowfish family. It reaches a maximum size of 6 inches. A peaceful fish, it can be kept with other similar and or like tempered tank mates. Being a schooling fish, it requires to be kept in a school of 6 or more of its own kind in order for it to thrive. Thus, requiring a very large tank with ample space for the fish to swim around.
